About Debt Mediation
Debt mediation is an informal, voluntary process in which we approach your creditors to negotiate revised repayment terms. It differs from debt review, which is a formal statutory process conducted by a registered debt counsellor and which places a flag on your credit profile.
Through mediation, we aim to agree on arrangements that address arrears, reduce monthly pressure and allow you to regain control of your finances. Each creditor decides independently whether to accept a proposal.

Must creditors accept the proposal?+
No. Each creditor considers proposals on its own terms. We aim to present proposals that are realistic and well supported.
